O.K. so now that the boxster is gone and i am using the 914 regularly, i need to be able to lock the doors.
- when i first got the car and had the door panels apart, i lubed the mechanisms, and replaced the handles with used ones from somewhere else, put in my lock cylinders, but the driver's side lock cylinder was damaged by the p.o. who used too long of a screw to hold the handle in place and it went into the cylinder.
handles are not very nice and have considered getting brand new but are very expensive from what i can see.

- ideas on new, used refinished etc. i could just put new re-keyed locks, or get a new key with new lock cylinders that match but would be different than my ignition.

- maybe someone here has some nice ones laying around? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

Sounds like they just need cleaned and gone through...send them to Ury or tweet to have them redone.

I plan on sending all my locks to tweet to have him redo them and have a key that's not worn down so much it looks like a toothpick
