Can't believe I forgot to post this pic a few weeks ago. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/yikes.gif)
I had a decent 94 F150 with a 5.0 which worked just fine, but then JRust found himself with one too many trucks and a deal was struck for a 97 F250 with a 7.3 diesel. I did loads of work to it (mostly in the engine, and some welding repair) but it never quite fit 'me'. So I found this 2002 F250 with a 7.3d. Pretty much all stock and in good shape. Drove the 914 200miles with a flat tow kit in the trunk and the deal was made. Hooked up the 914 and towed it home. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) To be clear... there's nothing wrong with the 914, it's still working great. I just didn't have someone to drive me to Yuba City, so this way I could do it all myself. Been driving the truck quite a bit for the last few weeks and it's everything I wanted. But now I have three trucks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Anyone want to buy a truck? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) |

QUOTE Holleeee crap! Trying to piece this one together just from the pictures... Blowout... then rim failed, then drivetrain effectively locked, then leaf spring failed? Lucky the driveshaft didn't dig in and go pole vaulting! |
