Sadly I will never be able to lay hands on it. The guy that owns it doesn't need the money. It sits in a pole building with other car stuff, boat motors and piles and piles of truck parts. The building is 54X90 packed to the roof. There is also a 69 Firebird 400 4sp car the guy has owned since new. It was also buried under stuff.

Sadly, he will sell it to some upscale resto company and it will sell at Barrett Jackson for 5 figures......... I'm all for these beauty being preserved, but hate when it becomes a commercial enterprise, and not a hobby. WOW.............. I had a 68 back in the day, and could have owned a half dozen of these when I was in High School. MOPAR is crazy these days. |
