If you had to choose one car as a daily driver, which would you choose?
It will get driven ~2x's a week 75 miles round trip through TN back roads. '72 914 1.7l Numbers matching Willow green/tan ~28 mpg Have core 2.0 to build up when the original engine starts crapping out Decent shape but quite a few little things need fixing. '72 914-6 conversion Zambeezi green/tan Much, MUCH better condition than the other car. Currently a 2.2S but will eventually get a high compression 2.4E. One is obviously faster, but the other is fast enough. Both handle about the same. Better gas mileage in the 4. Dont really need to sell either, but could use some cash for other projects. Specifically a 71E Targa I want to start working on. |

Do a pink slip (auto title) loan and record a receipt with your rich uncle. Have him advance you the cash, you still keep the car...He keeps the ownership doc. At an agreed upon date you repay him the cash, or hand him the keys.
If you really don't need the money then just keep your 2 teeners ! Marty |
