I'm hoping to plasti dip my car to make it all one color after my off at SOW while I save up for paint. Does anyone in SoCal have experience with this. It seems dipyourcar.com can't sell their kits here, so I'm stuck buying the stuff off CraigsList which I can only imagine is picked up across state lines somewhere. For example:

Don't do it. That crap gets into every crevice and when you want it off you will never get it all.
Use a wrap...vinyl wrap...peels off easily. Make it all carbon fiber! |

I think that for the cost you can't do vinyl, but you are right. I have looked at several cars that had been detailed and still had bits of "dip" in crevices too small to clean effectively, but large enough to see. If you are stripping for a proper repaint later, it might be ok. |
