I watched Classic Car Rescue on Velocity channel this week. They were restoring a VW Split Window Camper Bus.
They went to a Porsche junkyard in Toronto area to get some front disc brakes for the bus. There was an image of Mario in the junkyard with eight teeners rusting away in a field. Nice looking Mahles on the red teener! Attached image(s) ![]() |

I wonder where that is exactly. I need a good source for basket case 914s. I need a ton of random little parts. Is it just me or does it look like someone dragged all those cars out into the weeds for the t.v. show. I've seen plenty of cars that have been chucked out in the back 40, and the earth just seems to swallow them up. No way in hell I'd even bother pulling parts off of those cars as they sit in that scrubby brush, you'd come out covered in ticks.Unless you wait for winter, and freeze your butt off. Either way, forget that. I sincerely hope they got moved to a better spot after they shot the show.
