Anyone have a link to a detailed carpet installation how-to? I bought the carpet kit, floor vinyl, and sill trim from 914Rubber, but my '74 came with nothing on the floors, just bare metal with some kind of thin adhesive-backed sound deadener. I've got these pieces all laid out on my garage floor and other than the obvious overlay carpet pieces I'm clueless as to where all this goes and how it is attached (I'm guessing 3M spray adhesive?)

Experiences appreciated.

The long unbound pieces go on the inside rockers, they are pre cut for the seatbelt holes so that will help with left and right. The kidney shaped one with the slot cut goes at the drivers side wheel well, the slot is where the speaker mount is. The almost rectangle with the C cut out is where the steering linkage passes through. The 12" dog bone shape is one the open area on the bulkhead next to it.
The center console section has a shifter hole, and the front drivers and passenger's mats , well you can figure that one.
The rears are almost the same with the parking brake cut out.
The vinyl is a little harder to explain. I do 6 piece vinyl kit, so the thin strips go between the back pad and the inner door seals.
I did post awhile back for the other 4 pcs, I know search sucks, but you might be able to find it
