Does anyone make repro seat foam ?
Or is it a matter of just finding a good set to work with or an alternative seats >? |

I do have a set that I had cut that I will be providing to Phillip.
The main issue is that it is a high density foam and is more expensive by the inch. a full sheet is $360. I should be able to get 10 out of it. By the time I cut it it looks like about $45 a pop. Yes you can buy foam at your local fabric store cheaper, but this is the high density seat cushion foam. I may look at making a molded part if there is some demand. It would take some of the labor out of cutting it, and disposing of the scrap. Just a matter of how many of these I need. So far the 10 should cover me for awhile. |
