looking for a cheap DD for driving to work since the 914 is down for the count and cant be depended on for such action ; ran across an very nice clean 2000 TT 5 speed with 100k miles -
car has new lots of stuff: clutch, flywheel, t.o. bearing, engine was completely resealed and new everything - owner is a audi cert. tech. what's the good bad and ugly with these cars? PHil Attached image(s) |

I cant tell if this is quattro or FWD
Normally the quattro's have little badge in the grill which is missing from yours. The 1.8T is a really really good engine, Keep it stock and it'll last a while. The seals tend to shrink up with age and leak but if they've gone through all of is then it'll probably be good. I would advise asking him if he has Vag-Com and if he can show you the codes it pulls up in Vag-Com if any. |
