I can move my shifter quite a bit in every direction. Already tried the JB weld fix a couple of times but it still gets loose. I don't have a welder, what is the next best way to fix this?

what's your time worth? buy a good used one, replace the 2 bushings that cradle the ball on the lever and put it in the car. 0 down time. the 2 bushings make a big difference with the shifting.
