You just have to love the streamline & jet age/space age over the top designs of the era from the US Automakers' hey day!! If you look at the Porsche results from Gooding & Co. Scottsdale auction, you'll see some amazing sales prices. Makes you wish you kept every air cooled car you've ever owned!
