I've been building a 2414 race engine for my car and the old Kerry Hunter setup just wasn't going to cut it. I emailed Chris Foley and we began discussing what would be needed for my build and here it is. Turn around time was pretty fast for a custom exhaust, I ordered it a late last month. Since then I have ordered several other things from him such as his ITG air cleaner kit, his oil pressure relief assembly, a Mallory distributor, his cable throttle kit, and his new basic oil cooler kit. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with him. Heres some pics for y'all to drool over.

Just curious about the stub setup. Do you fasten the stubs to the header for the initial fit to get everything aligned, fasten to the motor, and then after that, you only need to remove the header from the stubs to take the exhaust off?
In other words, I am assuming that the purpose of the stub pipes is to facilitate easy and frequent removal of the exhaust without disturbing the copper gaskets and fussy head studs. Is that assumption correct? Oh, yeah, very sweet pipes! |
