I've been building a 2414 race engine for my car and the old Kerry Hunter setup just wasn't going to cut it. I emailed Chris Foley and we began discussing what would be needed for my build and here it is. Turn around time was pretty fast for a custom exhaust, I ordered it a late last month. Since then I have ordered several other things from him such as his ITG air cleaner kit, his oil pressure relief assembly, a Mallory distributor, his cable throttle kit, and his new basic oil cooler kit. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with him. Heres some pics for y'all to drool over.

If you look closely at the exhaust ports on one head you can see the studs on the left (2 or 3) port are turned about 4 degrees relative to the port axis.
Also, the 1 & 4 Pushrod tubes are closer to the port, with the exhaust PR tube creating significant interference to a straight exhaust pipe. Therefore I dimple only the 1 & 4 stubs, just enough to eliminate the interference. Flowbench tests showed that my carefully shaped dimples have no effect on port flow compared to a non-dimpled stub. If a PR tube contacts the exhaust pipe the O-rings will fail to hold back the oil. |
