Just saw this on CL
CL page What is the going price of a 6 that I assume would need a rebuild? Is this really genuine? The engine number in the pic does not match the engine number guide listed in the info section here. |

Plain for everyone to see it's fitted from a 911 , not a 914-6. . .
I'd want to see the 901/38 number next to the 640xxxx engine number to be sure this is a real 6 crankcase. . That being said, unless you have the actual 914-6 chassis this came from, it has no significant value over any other core motor. . maybe $1000 unless you can verify leakdown pressure and compression. . otherwise it's just a pig without lipstick as it sits. . |
