I am ready to install my new engine and looking for thoughts on the firewall insulation pads as I would like the look of stock, though also the insulation of heat and sound coming from the engine compartment
I have sort of narrowed it down to 2, one is the one offered by 914Rubber (always great products) and one from AA, has any one experience with ether or other Ideas greatly appreciated. Thanks wes

You can have it coated in LineX liner like I did. Hopefully some day soon I'll be able to tell you if it's any quieter. Looks good anyways.
