Work continues on the SBC V8 914... Trying to take the Intake Manifold off the TBI SBC... Which has TORX bit (40) fasteners everywhere!! 4 bolts are stripped!!
What is the best way to remove these? (they are intake bolts so access to them isn't good) Do they make "easy outs" for this size bolt? Any help would be appreciated... Thanks, Steve |

If there's direct access, choose a drill bit large enough to remove the bolt head. After removing the intake manifold, should be fairly straightforward to unscrew the now tension-free threaded shank.
Drop the drivetrain for better access. Sherwood |
