I have a chance to pick up a 07 sti trans cheap 6-speed! Anyone run these? I have seen that the gears tend to be a bit tall like 25 in first gear??. What I do like about it is the lsd but the ratios seem almost too close for the application. Advice or Opinions please! thanks in advance

I think you might be right on the physical size Matt. There were some comments about it being an issue length-wise. May be tough to fit.
Measure it from the bell housing to where the center diff starts and we'll find out pretty quickly. I'll measure my 5MT tonight. Any pics of it? The good news is that the Subie guys are DYING for that trans as Matt said. You can flip it and buy a really nice 5MT if it doesn't work out. |
