FYI - this multi-marque classics & exotics car, truck, motorcycle & RV charity show is on this Saturday out in Chino, & all proceeds go to the Boys Home, which was where McQueen got "help" in his youth.

There is usually a good turn out of 914s & Porsches - although not huge, but there are several 100 of all types & makes spread all around & a fun gearhead & family fun event!

... And I had our restored `88 Westy on display out on the baseball field by the vintage trailers - mainly to keep it off the free dirt lot parking where it got covered by a thick layer of dust last year! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Since the 10th grader Jeff whom I was mentoring as judge & I had the 911 & VW Groups - I couldn't really get points for it anyway, but I showed him all the camping features - which he thought was really cool. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

This resto project is part of what's kept me off of my 914's resto since 2012 - except for getting parts along the way when they come up - among the other car, trailer, house/garage/yard projects, work & some biz BS, family matters to deal with, etc., etc. .....
