I received a Weltmeister Rear Sway Bar as a donation to my track car project.
It's a used unit and as such has no instructions/templates for the install. Anyone have any pics of theirs in the car and tips to make sure I don't dick it up? A test fit shows that it may interfere with the shocks at the full-soft setting. Both ends of the bar contact at the adjustable mount. There doesn't seem to be that much room for travel either, though I can shorten the droplinks by about 3/4 inch or so (unless the bar is supposed to ride below the lower shock mount? Seems unlikely, but that's why I'm asking the question, eh?) A search only gave me a photo of a stock set up which doesn't help. The mounting points are different, but the bar is in the correct position above the lower shock mount. Many TIA! |

I just scanned the installation instructions. My good deed for the year. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif)
REAR http://www.nosubstitute.org/914/Welt_Rear_...nstructions.pdf FRONT http://www.nosubstitute.org/914/Welt_Front...nstructions.pdf I scanned at 300dpi x 8bits and then PDF'ed so the files are a tad large (~1MB) but should print clearly. |

Hate to dredge up a seriously old thread but I'm looking for a copy of the front weltmeister installation instructions and the link in this thread is dead. Can anybody help? I've read the install instructions on the "bird board", but it would be nice to have the original install info. |

Got your PM - I most likely still have those files and will post 'em after work in a couple hours assuming there are where I think. I did shut-down (my) nosubstitute.org site a few years ago but I still have the site files. At one point nosubstitute.com was a porn site so be careful (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |
