Thinking of a fire suppression system, but halon is so expensive, I think foam systems freeze and I'd hate to dump a chemical bottle on it.
Automatic, no residue, looks like a good system, you would just zip tie it to the lid. Only downside I see is the ugly hose in the compartment. This pops up here from time to time. Seems like cheap protection IF it is installed at the ideal location to put the fire out.
