>> For those who attended, feel free to post your pix on here, cuz due to volunteer judging (really just showing one of the Boys Republic residents how to judge & mentoring them to do it) - I didn't get a chance to take pix until after 2 pm & many interesting cars & 914s had left by then. FYI - this multi-marque classics & exotics car, truck, motorcycle & RV charity show is on this Saturday out in Chino, & all proceeds go to the Boys Home, which was where McQueen got "help" in his youth. Thanks for the photos Tom. That looks like a really great event. I like the split window vans. Amazing how valuable they are now. When I was in college you could find them for a few hundred bucks, even there in the Bay Area where I lived at the time. As for the 918, I am not a big fan of that paint and to pay even more for it seems silly. I have noticed a lot of motorcycles with that flat paint these days too, both cruisers and sport bikes. I guess I am just getting old, but I like shiny paint with a good wax.
