Second season on my 2056 with 9590 Raby cam and heads done by Len Hoffman. Stock L-jet injection.

When I run the car up to 5500-6000 rpm it cuts out like there is a revlimiter (which there isn't) or the valves are floating.

Could this be an issue of the L-jet injectors not supplying enough fuel at those conditions?

We have a 2056 L-jet car here right now.

It sounds like the wiper on your AFM is going off the end of the board at WOT.
Add a few clicks of tension on the flapper spring, then retune the wiper position.
You'll probably have to re-connect a wideband O2 meter to get the wiper where it works best.
