any body know the best brakes for four lugs that work well in our teeners and are in a decent price range? I figure I can get some used bmw calipers at a used parts yard If I knew the model and years instead of throwing down 400 bones for two bmw calipers at AA? any good knowledge out there on brakes?

Go to NAPA and get a set of rebuilt 320i front calipers and use your old Porsche 914 calipers as cores. Pelican has the tech article in their 914 catalog section. You need to machine .060 off the caliper mounts to center the caliper over the rotor.

I don't condone this swap - though I have them on one of my cars, but here is the article: http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/9...MW_calipers.htm
