any body know the best brakes for four lugs that work well in our teeners and are in a decent price range? I figure I can get some used bmw calipers at a used parts yard If I knew the model and years instead of throwing down 400 bones for two bmw calipers at AA? any good knowledge out there on brakes?

people usually only put them on the front and with stock rears then no...
but if you were to put them all the way around then yes you would.

my opinion is also that this isn't really necessary or an "upgrade"
the fastest -4 cylinder racers I've known over years and years of wheel to wheel could make stock brakes with racing pads do great!!!

brakes on a 4cylinder race car are commonly over used
want to go faster??? brake less...

and definitely (sometimes with cooling) the front stock calipers used only to the amount necessary are very very good.

people over heating stock front brakes on the track are doing it from over braking in my opinion.
