The heads can be swapped very easily. (Except the 1.7 ones, which have to be milled.)

The heads can be swapped very easily. (Except the 1.7 ones, which have to be milled.) --DD So, which 4 stud heads would work with a GC case? And what are the benefits? 1.8, none... The 2.0 heads were the best flowing and they are at best, a compromise. Consider the LE series heads available from LN Engineering, Raby, Len Hoffman. All of these heads are pretty tired after 40 years. Many you will find have cracks, valve seats that will drop, etc... |

The reason why I ask is that my 1970 has a GC case and 4 stud intake, so now seems the mystery has been solved, it's a 2.0 with 1.8 heads. |
