Hi there,
I know there are tons of users out of FG flares and I wanted to get some opinions before I pulled the trigger for a set of flares. I know some have used Rennspeed, AA, Patrick, so I just wanted to get a sense of who was happy with the product. |

I have two sets. One from AIR and one set I got from 914LTD. I chose to rivet with welting under the flares. I am happy with the look. The welting makes it look a little more finished.
I originally had them screwed but the rivets look better and stay tight.   |

They were a little thicker than the others but not by much. I think I used 1940 Ford truck fender welting. Very similar to the VW stuff but this finishes as a rounded enlarged lip.
