Hi there,

I know there are tons of users out of FG flares and I wanted to get some opinions before I pulled the trigger for a set of flares.

I know some have used Rennspeed, AA, Patrick, so I just wanted to get a sense of who was happy with the product.

Happy with Patrick Motorsports products. I bought plastic rivets to not scar the paint from McMaster-Carr.... I believe I sourced the piping/welting from a VW shop in Cali. This is my old car and my current car has steel flares. I prefer the rivet on look if I had a choice. I always liked this picture...this is my friend Lewis Broyles - he worked on the car quite allot with me and was kind of like a proud papa. ;-)

Wow, that's a GREAT looking car. Nice vision, nice execution. Do you have any more pics? Curious to see this car from other angles.

There is a red car floating around the PNW with bolt-on flares with no welting and it looks really, really good. If it was good enough for the 993 GT2, I supposed it's good enough for the 914...

Thanks but that is yesterday's news...don't want to hijack either. I dug the look too...it was a good hot rod and mediocre at best track car. There were reasons for that...
