So 4702901545 was part of a package deal of 5 cars bought this summer in Michigan. It is by far the worst condition of the litter. I picked up Saturday and brought it home. Took a little time to look it over and noticed it has some very early 914 parts on it that are different than the mid 1970 and up cars. Sadly the door jamb sticker is gone and so is the chassis plate so I don't have build date info.
Some time in the past the front fenders were removed and later style ones where screwed & riveted on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Also drives door has been changed. The passenger sports the very early style narrow inside door handle and the pedal board has longer end on it and the drives seat track has the straight adjustment handle on it. The seatbelts have a 1971 date on the so wonder if they were changed out sometime in the past? Anyway it is always neat to find these very early cars and see all the little design changes that Porsche did during the early 70 model year. Attached image(s) |

10/69 or 11/69 build. That's early.
I have one of those straight arm seat adjusters as well in case you need an extra one for the museum. |
