Hi,
the Porsche parts cataloge shows 2 different part numbers for the window guide channels. There is 914.542.013.10 for 914/6 and 914-4 70-72. Second one 914.542.013.11 for all 914-4 73-76. But what is the difference? Also the parts cataloge shows a part numer for the window channel seal 914.542.161.12 for all 914-4 73-76, but there is no part number for this seal for 70-72. Is there any difference in the seal? Best, Mark |

You got it. Early have no fuzzies in both vertical channel. Front has rollers, rear has a plastic guide that has probably broken off and is in the bottom of the door.
Late is a scissor mechanism with fuzzies in both verticals. Also the early requires a little more clearance at the triangle window seal. You can shave the seal or removed the offending tab. |
