My 914 buddy said I should solicit advice from JP Stein and Brad Roberts at least. I bought two of these great little cars, one for the wife and one for me. Mine needs to be BAD.....Looking for about 150 HP, rides like a rock, corners like a F1 car, etc. I don't want the equipment to be the limiting factor. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) Budget is shy of spending ALL the retirement fund. OK guys, let's see what is out there.

If you have a clean '73 2.0, it's worth more to leave it the way it is. Buy a tub and fix it up if you want to autocross it. I just hate to see the best 914 they made, 914/6 excluded, anything but restored.
