This was the second session of the first day the car was on the track...maybe pushing it a little too hard out of the gate but it did well. I tightened the front bar, lowered the rear ride height, tightened up the shocks (dampening) and lowered air temps Sunday/today - WOW! What a difference...I don' know which one did it or a bit of them all but it worked...took three seconds off my time as compared to this video.

This is a LONG video (12+ minutes)...I had been flagged for being too loud and had to "lift" 300 yards before the first marker on the straight. Bummer. I started following SixAddict for a couple laps. We had a great time!

1) Unofficially (SixAddicts wife) clocked me at 1:16 (could be in the ballpark, even if I was a little slower than that). She clocked the IMSA GT3 at 1:15 during the same session. I'll take anything in the ball park as a positive sign. That car has run the 24 hours of Daytona...at that point, my car ran ONE 20-minute session with no adjustments. 2) Engine coolant never exceeded 210 but oil got a little too hot for my taste at 290. We have controlled engine oil temps on LS's before but always with "ducting up front" I'm not moving the cooler up front but will figure that one out. Oil pressure never waivered despite the heat. When I short-shifted one session the oil never exceeded 260 - the difference will not be difficult to fix.
