Looking to buy some Euromeisters and all I see is 7's and 9's in 17" rims. Do the 17x9's fit in the rear with AA steel flares? If not, do they need major work (grafting in metal) or just some tugging.

They do look good but tire selection in the 15 and 16 is horrible. I'd rather run a 17 with a wide selection of high performance street tires than have 15's or 16's and be stuck with competition only tires. Look where I live. All competition tires and most ultra performance street tires can't even be stored in a freezing environment. That leaves my garage out.
In my mind, the tire is what's important. The rim is just a means to an end. It's a bonus if I like the look. Thankfully, I just so happen to really like the RSR finish Fuchs. |
