I'm trying to replace the electical portion of the ignition switch. I've got the steering wheel, lock nut, switchs, and ignition retaining plate off. I cannot however slide the ignition switch assembly out. Is there something else I am missing?
Do I have to remove the upper steering shaft? (first U-joint back)

Thanks.

Bump,

welcome Graham...
you may need to start a new thread to catch peoples attention again...
I've noticed after people have already read through the beginning of a thread and it doesn't apply to them, they may not catch all of the new posts...

sorry I haven't been able to answer your questions on this one.

good to see you here
