Thought I would start a new thread for all to view and learn from.
Got the muffer and muffler bracket off for a better view. Check out the arrow below the hole?? more failure in case? Went ahead and drained the oil. Hope I don't find too much metal. Tomarrow I will start unbuckling everything so i can drop the tranny lower. Then we'll peer into the abyss..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) later Attached image(s) |

Went over and took a look at the tranny last night. He needs a new retainer bolt and a cover. He has one coming from the seller but its going to be a few weeks before it gets here. I was planning on taking the parts off a spare side shift tranny at my house and taking them over tonight, but I got reminded of a prior commitment for tonight. So it will have to wait until thursday. Then we can get him back on the road.
