Thought I would start a new thread for all to view and learn from.
Got the muffer and muffler bracket off for a better view. Check out the arrow below the hole?? more failure in case? Went ahead and drained the oil. Hope I don't find too much metal. Tomarrow I will start unbuckling everything so i can drop the tranny lower. Then we'll peer into the abyss..... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) later Attached image(s) |

Mega thanks to Clay Perrine. I am back on the road!
Dodged a bullet as I only needed a replacement back cover and pinion bolt. Oh yeah, had to tap the threads in the pinion shaft as they got buggered up when the bolt drilled through the back cover. New parts are on loan from Clay till I can get replacements from the seller. Great to find such a great 914 community. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif) |
