Just read a thread on the Pelican parts forum that Pelicans owner Wayne had his 914-6 stolen last night in Harbor City......close to LA. He hasn't posted a pic yet, if someone has one please post and be on the lookout.

AAA lithium batteries last 6-12 months. Very small so easy to hide. Uses the GlobalStar network used by commercial trucking, etc. Someone mentioned Tile. I have a bunch of those for keys and such. They rely on bluetooth and have a VERY limited range. They are very handy but I would not consider them a suitable tracking device for a vehicle. |
