A fellow member over on the ESR has a 30 year old NOS, Porsche logo, Sigla windshield that's "Made in West Germany".
Any opinions as to value? |

It may make a difference to get a NOS one - IF it's tinted - only if the dealers aren't selling the tinted ones now, & a particular 914=6 or /4 has tinted glass all around or tinted windshield (IIRC aka: heat tempered/resistant in the German to English transliteration in the 914 PET parts manual), for a correct resto or preservation. The Porsche warehouse )Atlanta) still has them.
I got a quote last week of $564 shipped to Albuquerque and then $22.50 to ship to Durango. Parts guy said it would take about 2 weeks. I bought one 4 years ago (same deal) and that one does say Sigla. |
