Anyone here have experience with self contained 12V AC compressor ?
Mounts remote from engine, driven by electric motor. Seems it might be a way to have AC on a 6 conversion. Jegs sells them in two capacities. Pretty spendy. |

Electric AV compressors in cars use up to 230v. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) If you see a 12v one let us know. Several Ac threads where this has been talked about.

I don't see why you couldn't use one with the 160A alternator; I would assume that your car draws nothing near that load (assuming you're not rocking a xrazy stereo, etc.). |
