I finally installed the engine yesterday. Now I'm doing the hook-ups. I shoved the throttle cable up into the engine compartment through the only available hole in the tin. It doesn't look right. I might have had an old dried out grommet there before but I just can't remember.
Is this where the cable is supposed to go? I looked on 914 Rubber for a grommet and couldn't find one. Here is a picture. Unfortunately i don't have a good enough "before" picture to help out. Thanks in advance. Jack |

That is the factory hole for the throttle cable. The grommet is nothing special, you should be able to find something suitable at a hardware store.
