Hi there. I've been lurking around here for about a year on this forum, but never posted or introduced myself (i'm both rude and shy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) . My name is Metzger and i have a narrowbody 71-914. First i thought i'll keep it that way but as always i f..k up. Yesterday my favoriteweels came up for sale and i just had to buy them. Now my ? They are 10"and 9"×17" . Are there anyone who makes gt-flares that can cover those wheels. Like the look of the original style. The can-am type not so much. Btw they sat on 930. Pardon my poor english. I habla you and i hope habla mine.

Stiffmeister,

When you said that you had bought your favorite wheels and now needed some flares to fit, I wondered if you meant Rufs?

I did the same years ago and bought a set of 9's and 10's but now plans have changed so I'm leaning towards selling. But the Speedline Rufs are great looking wheels!!!

What too do what to do. The car was of the road for 10 years and was verry worn out. I hope it clears inspection next week. Plan to drive it as is this sommer and hope the motor hold together. My transmission has a date with the transmission guy this coming winter for a quafediff and a Patrik intermidiate plate. I will put my old turbumotor together and upgrade my fuelsystem. Dont plan on doing more work so i can dan drive each sommer. Will be kindoff roling restoration-project. Sorry....... spelled wrong. I know you cant turbo a 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Attached Image
