I need front tires for my bug and have been experimenting with different rims and tire sizes.
I like the Fuchs but because of the lowered spindles on my bug they rub on the rims if I corner hard. I can tell you these rims deflect a lot! My other reasons are these tie into my bugs EMPI theme better, they fill the wheel wells a little nicer and I would give the Fuchs to my son for his 914 build. A long time ago a friend did a PS of the black in a candy red on the EMPI sprintstars and it looked cool, but my idea is could I leave the one group of black as is, say the wide sections and paint the narrow sections a different color. Or vice-versa thus creating a Black Max look to the rims. the rest would still be silver. Thanks, you guys rock (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
But I don't think it looks as good as I envisioned it. Why I wanted to see it before I went to all the trouble. Maybe do the all blue background to match the car...or black with a hint of blue mixed in the clear. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |
