All I really want for father's day is to spend a little time with my dad and to start my new motor. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hissyfit.gif)
On the run stand:  Everything primed except oil. and the starter won't spin: Here are the brushes:  Here is the armature/communicator:  Here is the casing/Bosch part ID:  When the brushes get this worn, will it not spin the armature ? Can you just order the brush plate assembly ? |

I have a starter you can use for testing, not sure where it is exactly (which box/tub in the shed).
Where in Sac are you? I work in Elk Grove & live in Carmichael. There used to be a starter/alternator shop down by Sac City college, not sure if they are still there. Jim |
