Nice to see they had open pits at Indy.
For the Left Coasters, the Coronado Speedfest at NAS North Island (San Diego) in mid-Sept. every year has a similar 3 day vintage racing event, in conjunction with car corrals (PCA-SDR has a great hospitality tent), car show, as well as Fleet Week aircraft displays, warship tours, stuff for the kiddies, etc. Well worth a day or full weekend of fun!
