This picture says it all.
I have no idea how you would need to drive an 18-wheeler in order to invert an engine on a pallet WITH THE PALLET STILL ATTACHED: Attached thumbnail(s) ![]() |

15 years ago I was restoring a Karmann Ghia and needed a windsheild. The first two arrived broken from UPS. I was standing at the rear of the truck when the 3rd one arrived. As the driver opened the tailgate I saw my box laying on one end. The box had very large lettering that stated, "Do not stand on end"! I lost it and gave the driver a bunch of (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) I received no response when I asked if any of their fucking Monkey's could read. He insisted upon leaving that broken windshield with me. I told him to get the (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sheeplove.gif) out of there and to take the broken POS with him. I've avoided UPS since.

I hate to rain on your parade. If you need "any" package to be moved from A to Z in one position. You have better send it on a pallet and or deliver it yourself. Its simple facts of life. Just look at the original posting. As mentioned and as suggested, pack it in a wooden crate. But then, that's if the person who is sending it with any common sense in how UPS , FDX , USPS and DHL process the customers package. I guess it comes down to- pay for the packing and appropriate service. I just returned a 100 lbs work bench that was chipped on the corner. It was delivered by FDX. After analyzing it, I concluded that the mfg simply f ..ked up with the packing....so should I blame FDX??? |
