Any one remember this custom 914 ? I found this old picture from when I was in school and wondered out to the Pomona Swap meet and car show back in the late 80's This 914 is wearing period correct mods for the 80's ...

I resemble that 14,pretty sure it was a feature in some VW mag in the 70-80's.
The pix is scanned from the pages.The farout winged thing with stripes of bright primaries. Radical,Man. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) Early 'Tee' back there,which is also familiar,I might guess the pix was for the HotRod or StreetRodder mags. Centerline wheels in 8-10". For sure,a catchy build.  Another,Glockler. / |

It's a real m471 which were then further modified with the Glockler touch. The wing thing has left the building (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |
