Looking for the weights of a 915 and G50 transmissions. Also need the weight of a 993 (air cooled) 3.6-liter motor.

I believe that the 993 engine came out in 96 not 87. In 87, to my knowledge it was still 3.2. Some folks get the 964 3.6 mixed up with the 96 Vram 3.6 . The last generation of air cooled was the 3.6 vram ( 96 -98) Correct me if I'm wrong...if I had to take a guess, I would say 450 lbs dry. The additional weights came via all those extra components on the top of engine and the large vram. Best is to post your question on the Bird site. |
