Hi all this may sound like a dumb question but I'm trying to work out what temperature does my temp. gauge (on my console) monitor. Is it the head temp. or oil temp.?
Cheers Steve

Great thanks for that. That explains why the temp gauge doesn't move much with the engine at idle in the garage even though the engine is warming up. Car is not yet ready for the road, should see the temp gauge rise when I start driving it, hopefully next week.
