Hi, does anybody know if Zeniths ever came stock on 914/6? My buddy acquired an old 6 motor that came with Zeniths on it and they look like they've been there a long time.
thanks Joe |

If that is indeed what is printed, then yes - either a mistake or a misprint. In some ways, it's surprising that the 914-6 *didn't* come with Zenith carbs, since the engine is essentially a 1969 911T. - MR |

I believe that the Zeniths in the US were unique to the 2.2 911T cars |

My dad bought a 911 a while ago with a TV motor in it and we were a bit confused for a while. They definitely existed in '72, but I'm not totally sure about '73. |
