Hi, does anybody know if Zeniths ever came stock on 914/6? My buddy acquired an old 6 motor that came with Zeniths on it and they look like they've been there a long time.
thanks Joe |

According to Bruce Anderson, 911E in 1970/71 had Zenith 40 TIN's, seems to be only applications Sorry: ALL 911E's, 1969 - 1973, came from the factory with Mechanical Fuel Injection (MFI. "E" for Einspritzung.) As Bretth said: Zeniths were a 911T, 1969 - 1972/1973 (?) application. - MR |

If that is indeed what is printed, then yes - either a mistake or a misprint. In some ways, it's surprising that the 914-6 *didn't* come with Zenith carbs, since the engine is essentially a 1969 911T. - MR |
