Another Weber Question:
i just got my new velocity stacks from CB-Performance (very nice product, actually) and i was going to put them on my 40 Webers. Currently, i don't have *any* stacks on there and now i think i know why ... the studs that come out the top that hold the linkage plate etc. are only about 10mm long (on the outside) and as soon as i put the stacks on, i don't have any thread left for the nut to grab! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) so, i'm going to need longer studs, i think at least 20mm on the outside ... anyone here who has 8 lying around or knows where to buy a set? Yep, I used some Chrome Allen Bolts that came with my air cleaner setup from CB. I think it looks pretty good too.
